BIOGRAPHY

Alexia Montibon was born in southern California and grew up in the Inland Empire.  She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and Art History minor cum laude from the University of Southern California.  She has published an illustrated book, Forged In Fire: Stories of Wartime Japan, which was co-authored with her mother, Rita Tomoko Montibon.  Forged In Fire is about her mother’s childhood in Japan during World War II.  For more information, please visit her Author Page.  Alexia and her husband live and work in Los Angeles.
